Correction for December Spectrum

In the December 2008 issue of AALL Spectrum, in the sidebar on page 10 of the article, “The Case for Collaborative Tools,” the headline states that the tools for long-distance collaboration are free. While many of the tools listed are free, some of them charge a fee. AALL Spectrum apologizes for the error.

While economists forecast the weak economy to stick around for some time, there are some things you can do to safeguard your law library—and your job—during the recession. AALL’s December Webinar will help you manage your library budget during these cost-cutting times.

Law Firm Library Budgeting During Hard Economic Times, to be held December 11 from 12-1 p.m. (EST), will teach you about the general budgeting process and give you advice on writing a successful budget proposal. It will also discuss tips and tricks to employ when there is an immediate need to trim costs, such as an economic downturn.
